Studios don't want to risk it: Charlize on female-led action films
Actress-producer Charlize Theron spoke about how Hollywood studios aren't willing to take risks with female-led action films, reported The Hollywood Reporter. "Action films with female leads don't get greenlit...It's not a risk that studios want to take, but they'll take...the same guy who might have a string on action movies that did not do so well," she said.
