Study, cited by World Bank, predicting economic crash due to climate change retracted
A study, published in journal Nature, which predicted a 62% decline in global economic output by 2100 due to climate change has been retracted over flawed data. The findings, however, were thrown off by faulty data for Uzbekistan. The original paper was cited by policymakers like the World Bank, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and US Congressional Budget Office.
