Study: Higher semaglutide doses safe for obese adult weight loss
A higher weekly dose of semaglutide significantly improves weight loss in adults living with obesity, including those with type 2 diabetes, according to phase 3 clinical trials published in The Lancet Diabetes and Endocrinology journal. The study suggested that at least 7.2 mg of semaglutide offers a new option for those who have not achieved weight loss with existing treatments.
