Take Tests to smaller centres: Aakash on empty Ahmedabad stadium
After empty stands were seen at 1,32,000-capacity Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad during the first India-West Indies Test, ex-India cricketer Aakash Chopra suggested moving Tests to smaller centres. "If you don't want a tier system, that's fine, but if it's important, go to smaller centres," he said, adding, "Play in Guwahati, Ranchi, or Indore, and the stadium will be full."
