Teenager dies of sarcoma cancer after doctors dismiss her pains
A 19-year-old girl from Essex died after pain across her body, stomach, back, arms, legs, and even during her periods, was dismissed by a doctor, who advised her to take painkillers. Isobel Allen was later diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare cancer that originates in the connective tissues of bones, cartilage, muscles, fat, and blood vessels.
