Terrorist group Hizb ut-Tahrir to hold conference on Islamic caliphate in Canada
Terrorist organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) is organising a conference in Canada's Mississauga on January 18. The event aims to promote "restoration of Islamic caliphate and imposition of Sharia law", as per reports. The group was founded in 1953 by Palestinian scholar Taqi al-Din al-Nabhani and is banned in many countries, including India, UK and Germany for promoting terrorism and anti-Semitism.
