Tesla ordered to pay ₹2,900-cr after being found 33% responsible for 2019 Autopilot crash
A Miami court found Elon Musk-led Tesla is 33% to blame for an Autopilot crash in 2019, where a Model S ran a stop sign and hit another car, killing a woman standing next to it. It has been ordered to pay $329 million (₹2,900 crore). Tesla argued the Tesla driver was distracted after dropping his phone in the car.
