Texas to deploy National Guard to maintain order after protests
Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that the Texas National Guard will be deployed to ensure peace and order after anti-immigration protests erupted in the state. "Peaceful protest is legal. Harming a person or property is illegal and will lead to arrest," Abbott added. "Texas National Guard will use every tool and strategy to help law enforcement maintain order," he stated.
