Ayushmann Khurrana took pride in success of 'Thamma' and said that it's "validation" for his acting journey, and also busts a major myth. He said, "[Thamma] busts...myths that people want to see sequels/remakes and big superstar movies on Diwali. He explained that superstars release their "tentpole films" during Diwali, and said, "Today (Diwali), I watched my film with my family."
