Composer-singer Amaal Mallik said his long term girlfriend left him because of his Muslim background. "I was like there isn't even I of Islam in me...I'm the least religious guy," he said. Amaal said the breakup hit him badly, adding, "It was through that pain...I created music for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Kabir Singh'. Within 20 minutes, we finalised 6 songs."
