Thick layer of smog covers Delhi, several areas see 'severe' air
A thick layer of smog covered Delhi on Sunday with national capital witnessing average AQI of 386. In areas like Anand Vihar, Chandni Chowk, ITO and Bawana, the air quality turned 'severe' with AQI at 412, 418, 417, and 436 respectively. Air in Hauz Khas and Dhaula Kuan was in 'very poor' category with AQI at 393 and 338 respectively.
