Throwing away film career, salary for politics: Vijay after reports of his ₹275-cr fee
Actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay, during his first-ever political rally for his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), talked about his decision to quit films for politics. "At the absolute height of my career, I'm throwing it away, throwing away the salary I was drawing," he said. Reports earlier said he charged ₹275 crore for 'Thalapathy 69', said to be his last film.
