TMC targets winning over 215 seats in 2026 Assembly polls: Mamata
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said her party Trinamool Congress is targeting to win over 215 seats in 2026 elections to the 294-member Assembly. She further said her party would ensure a significant reduction in BJP's tally. "In 2021 assembly polls, BJP leaders said '200 paar' but were defeated...This time, BJP nominees must lose their deposits," she added.
