Told Swades maker you've arranged my murder: Javed on Ramlila song
Javed Akhtar shared how nervous he was before penning Ramlila song 'Pal Pal Hai Bhaari' for Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Swades'. He said when Ashutosh called him to discuss the song, he told the filmmaker, "You've made...perfect arrangement for my murder....Do you realise...[it's] a very sensitive subject...I told him...I can't do it," he said. However, Javed wrote the song in two hours.
