Tom Moody criticises Khawaja after he got barred from opening, says 'Beyond a joke'
Ex-Australia cricketer Tom Moody criticised Australia's Usman Khawaja after he was barred from opening against England in first Ashes Test due to rare rule, as he spent around 30 minutes off field during England’s innings. "Poor management...Beyond a joke...We needed Uzzie to lead...batting," Moody added. Captain Steve Smith had tried to bring Khawaja back out onto field to avoid incident.
