The first UPITS in 2023 was inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu, drawing 1,914 exhibitors and over 400 foreign buyers. The 2024 edition, opened by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, saw even larger participation. Backed by top leadership, UPITS has become a symbol of UP’s industrial ambition and global trade outlook.
