Toxic elements that can cause cancer found in Delhi's dust & soil
A study by JNU and Australia's UNSW has found dangerous concentrations of antimony in Delhi's road dust and soil. Researchers warned antimony exposure could cause cancer and other illnesses. "At the present rate of exposure, such toxic elements can cause over 1.8 lakh cancer cases in men, more than 2.1 lakh in women, and over 21,000 in children," they said.
