Trump confuses India with Iran as he repeats 'tariffs averted war' claim
US President Donald Trump mistakenly confused India with Iran while claiming that tariffs had prevented a potential India-Pakistan nuclear conflict. He said, "As an example, if you look at Pakistan and Iran....I [told them] If you go to war, I will put a 200% tariff." "Within 24 hours, the war ended. That would have been a nuclear war," Trump added.
