Trump delays 25% tariffs on Mexico by 1 month
US President Donald Trump delayed the 25% tariffs he imposed on Mexico by a month after Mexico agreed to "reinforce the northern border with 10,000 members of the National Guard". Trump announced the decision on Truth Social, calling his chat with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum "friendly". Sheinbaum meanwhile said US has committed to prevent trafficking of high-powered weapons to Mexico.
