Trump orders US flags at half mast for ally Kirk who was shot dead
US President Donald Trump ordered American flags across the country to be lowered to half mast until September 14 after his ally Charlie Kirk was shot dead. Kirk, a conservative activist who Trump called a 'patriot', was killed while hosting a college event in Utah. Kirk co-founded 'Turning Point USA' at 18 to spread conservative ideals to liberal-leaning US colleges.
