US President Donald Trump said he spoke with PM Narendra Modi on Diwali on call. He reiterated his claim that PM Modi assured him about lowering Russian oil imports. "We talked about a lot of things, but mostly the world of trade. He's very interested in that," Trump stated, adding PM Modi also wants Russia-Ukraine war to end.
