Trump suggests US firms report earnings only twice/year, says 'China firms have 100-yr view'
US President Donald Trump suggested firms report earnings only twice a year, and not on quarterly basis as they do right now. "This will save money and allow managers to focus on properly running their companies," Trump said. "China has 50-100-year view on management of a company, whereas we run our companies on a quarterly basis? Not good!" he added.
