TVK declares Vijay as CM candidate for 2026 TN Assembly polls
Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) on Friday officially declared actor-politician Vijay as its CM candidate for 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls. The party also stated Vijay will meet public from September to December. Vijay stated TVK will never join hands with BJP "not publicly, not even behind closed doors". "TVK isn't DMK or AIADMK to join hands with BJP," he added.
