Two arrested in Assam for smuggling endangered wildlife
Assam’s Special Task Force arrested two men in Nagaon for smuggling endangered species, recovering six Tokay Geckos, a live Slow Loris, and 10.63 kg of Pangolin scales. The suspects, from Karbi Anglong, were caught near Kuthori during a joint operation with forest officials. Cases were filed under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
