Uber bans woman called Swastika Chandra over her first name, later apologises
Uber has apologised to an Australian woman for banning her from the app over her first name. Swastika Chandra said she was ordering food last year, when a pop-up told her to change her name as it was in violation of Uber's terms. "Hindus used [Swastika] for thousands of years before Hitler used it in the wrong way," Chandra said.
