UK PM's office apologises for non-veg Diwali menu 'mistake'
UK PM Keir Starmer's office has apologised for a "mistake" in the organisation of its Diwali reception at 10 Downing Street after some British Hindus objected to non-vegetarian food and alcohol being served at the event. The statement came after Indian-origin UK MP Shivani Raja told Starmer that the reception wasn't in accordance "with the customs of many Hindus".
