Umar calls Delhi Police FIR a 'joke', says evidence fabricated
Former JNU student leader Umar Khalid, who has been in custody for five years for allegedly conspiring in the 2020 Delhi riots, called the FIR a "joke". Khalid's counsel contended that he wasn't even present during the violence and that the evidence against him was fabricated. He added that Khalid was first implicated, and then the evidence was "reverse engineered".
