UP policeman caught on CCTV stealing bags from shop; suspended
An Uttar Pradesh traffic sub-inspector (TSI) was caught on CCTV stealing four bags from a garment shop in Meerut. He was suspended after the shopkeeper complained to the police. The shopkeeper had earlier confronted the policeman, after which he started issuing challans to customers visiting the shop. Meerut SSP said that an impartial investigation will be conducted in the case.
