UP wins National Water Awards 2024; Mirzapur tops districts
Uttar Pradesh received national recognition at the Sixth National Water Awards 2024. Mirzapur was named Best District in the Northern Zone, while Agra Municipal Corporation secured joint third in the Best Urban Local Body category. The awards highlighted CM Yogi Adityanath’s water conservation initiatives, including Jal Jeevan Mission and Atal Bhujal Yojana.
