UPI adoption leads to 40% rise in Indian tourists in France
The growing adoption of India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in France has driven a 40% rise in Indian tourists, according to Lyra Network Chairman Christophe Mariette. Enabled at destinations like the Eiffel Tower, UPI offers Indians secure, rupee-based payments abroad. Lyra Network also plans to expand UPI to shopping hubs such as La Vallee Village in France.
