UPI crosses 750 million transactions in single day for 1st time
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) recorded 20.70 billion transactions in October, up from 19.63 billion in September and 20.01 billion in August, NPCI data showed. The total transaction value stood at ₹27.28 lakh crore in October. UPI also processed 750 million transactions in a single day for first time on October 18, when it processed 754.37 million transactions, highest-ever daily record.
