US astrophotographer captures ISS passing in front of Sun
US-based astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy captured and shared a photo of International Space Station (ISS) passing directly in front of Sun, with solar flares bursting around it. "I call the piece 'Kardashev Dreams', representing our first steps to being a much greater civilization," he added. '[The photo] shows...how small mankind’s largest spacecraft is against the more distant sun," he stated.
