US-based crypto firm makes racist remark on Indians, then Indian-origin employee apologises
Polymarket, a US-based crypto prediction firm, made racist remarks about Indians on X (formerly Twitter), by saying that some users based in India, Nigeria, and Turkey pretend to be women. After receiving criticism, Polymarket's Chief Legal Officer, Neal Kumar, apologised. "The post from an unofficial company account was unacceptable, and we take full responsibility," Indian-American Kumar said.
