US court declares mistrial in MIT-educated brothers' $25-million crypto heist
A US court was unable to reach a verdict in the case of two MIT-educated brothers, James Peraire-Bueno (29 years) and Anton (25 years), accused of stealing $25-million in cryptocurrency from traders on Ethereum blockchain. The court declared a mistrial in the "sandwich attacks" crypto trades. Sandwich attacks use bots to place large trades before and after another user's transaction.
