The US Embassy in India has rejected US President Donald Trump's claim that US Agency for International Development (USAID) allocated $21 million (₹183 crore) for voter turnout initiatives in India. The Embassy said USAID did not provide funding of $21 million for voter turnout in India from fiscal years 2014-2024, nor has it implemented any voter turnout-related activities in India.
