US lawmaker becomes first-ever to use AI voice to address Congress
US lawmaker Jennifer Wexton has become the first Congressperson to use an AI voice to address Congress. Wexton had lost her voice to a rare neurological disorder and used an AI program to create her voice's clone using old recordings of speeches. "It will never be 'me', but it's more 'me' than I ever thought I'd hear again," Wexton said.
