US oil prices hit lowest level since Dec 2021, gas down 5.7% in a month
US oil prices on Monday fell to their lowest level since December 2021 amid ongoing protests in China against COVID-19 lockdowns. While West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures slid 2.7% to trade close to $74 a barrel, futures for Brent crude dropped 2.9% to trade close to $81 a barrel. Gasoline price also fell by 5.7% from last month.
