US Secret Service bust SIM network in NY that could 'cripple telecom system' before UN meet
The US Secret Service has dismantled a network of electronic devices, including over 300 co-located SIM servers and 100,000 SIM cards, located across New York tri-state area. "[The devices] were capable of crippling telecom systems and carrying out anonymous telephonic attacks," it stated. The threat was disrupted before global leaders arrived for the UN General Assembly, it added.
