Actor Varun Badola, who played Ahaan Panday's father in Saiyaara, issued a clarification after his remarks about the film's promotions surfaced. He said, "This is misinterpretation of my words...this is malicious in its intent to tarnish Saiyaara." Varun had said in an interview that the PR team of Saiyaara went 'overboard' with promotions after unusual videos from theatres went viral.
