Vaughan backs Brook over Pope as Test captain in Stokes' absence
Former England skipper Michael Vaughan says Harry Brook, not Ollie Pope, should lead England in Ben Stokes' absence. "Ollie Pope looks a fantastic vice-captain," he said. "But sometimes vice-captains aren't brilliant captains. Harry Brook to me looks a born leader. If Stokes is injured, can't Ollie just stay as the vice-captain, and Harry Brook gets the leadership role?" Vaughan added.
