Vegetarian diet reduces risk of most cancers by 12%: Study
A study published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that vegetarian diets showed 12% overall reduced risk of all cancers. Conducted among 79,468 participants, it showed vegetarian diet was associated with 45% reduction in stomach cancer risk and 25% reduction in risk for lymphomas. Pescatarian diet was found to have less risk of colorectal cancers compared to vegetarian diets.
