Donald Trump said that airspace above and surrounding Venezuela has been shut amid tensions. In Truth Social post, he wrote, "To all airlines, pilots, drug dealers, and human traffickers, please consider airspace above and surrounding Venezuela to be close in its entirety." Previously, US warned its airlines of "hazardous situation" when flying over Venezuela due to "worsening security situation".
