Video shows Ethiopian volcano erupting for 1st time in 12,000 yrs
A video showing the Hayli Gubbi volcano, located in Ethiopia’s Afar region, erupting for the first time in 12,000 years surfaced online. The eruption resulted in thick plumes of smoke up to 14 kilometres (nine miles) into the sky, the Toulouse Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC) said. The volcanic ash is expected to hit Delhi and Jaipur.
