Video shows people climbing roofs to flee stampede at Vijay’s rally
A video has surfaced online showing people trying to escape by breaking into huts at actor-turned-politician and TVK chief Vijay's poll campaign rally in Tamil Nadu's Karur. In the video, men wearing t-shirts and tied flags on their heads can be seen climbing onto roofs, struggling to flee stampede situation. At least 39 people have been killed at the rally.
