Vitamin B3 might prevent skin cancer recurrence by 54%, says study
An observational study on 33,000 US veterans found nicotinamide, form of vitamin B3, might significantly reduce risk of new skin cancers, especially for those with past diagnosis. Nicotinamide helps reduce inflammation, strengthens immune system's ability to detect abnormal cells, says study. It further shows that if started immediately after first diagnosis, B3 reduced risk of new cancers by 54%.
