Walmart CEO Doug McMillon to step down from role after one-decade
Walmart CEO Doug McMillon will step down from his role in January 2026, after over a decade in charge at one of the world’s largest retailers. He'll be replaced by company insider John Furner, who is currently serving as the US division's CEO. Since McMillon took the job in 2014, Walmart's value has more than tripled to its current $817-billion.
