Batter Karun Nair, who was left out of India's Champions Trophy 2025 squad, said he "wasn't thinking" about his selection for the tournament. "At least for me, it felt quite far away. But like I said, you've dreams, you've thoughts, you want to achieve things," he added. Karun scored 779 runs in eight innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25.
