Legumes like lentils, beans, chickpeas, peas and soy products including Tofu, tempeh and edamame are important sources of protein. Dairy products like milk, cheese, yogurt are complete protein sources and nuts and seeds like almonds, cashews, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds also provide protein. Quinoa and certain whole grains like amaranth are also important sources of protein.
