Three members of a family died reportedly after an air conditioner compressor exploded at their house in Faridabad. The compressor may overheat if there's insufficient airflow leading to an explosion. Faulty wiring/short circuits can also lead to sparks that ignite flammable refrigerants. Therefore, regular maintenance is important to avoid clogged filters and other issues that strain the system.
