F1 drivers focus on eating "high-quality" food, McLaren driver Oscar Piastri's nutritionist, Dr Dan Martin, said, adding that "consistency" is key to their diet. He revealed that drivers eat plenty of meat, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, dairy products and berries. He added that drivers require around 3,500-4,000 calories on race day as they lose around 1,500-2,000 calories during a race.
